Single trail world record
Trail paradise Latsch Vinschgau is "world Class"
In the context of the sport broadcast “Summer challenge 2014” of a Swiss TV, the mountain bike racing twins Anita and Caro Gehrig took on an extreme sporty challenge:
“15.000 downhill meters single trails in only one day on different trails.”
For getting uphill with their enduro bikes they had only mountain railways or shuttle transport. In short: Only aids that every “normal” biker had available.
Challenge accepted! 17 hours, 16 downhills and 15.117 depth meters later Anita and Caro Gehrig broke the single trail world record of the mountain bike legends Thomas Frischknecht & Thomas Giger!
Challenge made: since summer 2014, the trail paradise Latsch-Vinschgau is officially “world class”!
