Fun running and Jogging in South Tirol

....with training plan for the ideal heart rate, fat burning, calorie use and correct diet!

Jogging fever is going round - our landlords Ruth and Martin have already been infected! They now want to infect our fitness conscious guests with this virus too.

To make running fun at the start, it is important not to push yourself too hard. To prevent this, our sport & fitness guru, Naz, (a physiotherapist…) will put together your own personal training programme. In a detailed performance test (done here in the hotel), your body and your heart rate will be analysed and assessed as precisely as possible. The outcome and your future training plan will be explained in your personal consultation with Naz. Since this test is completely individual, it is suitable for those new to running, as well motivated runners and professionals alike.

Jogging Activities 2009

  • 1 x per week “Waalweg jogging” with Mrs Pirhofer, jogging together on the well-known “Latschanderwaal” between Latsch and Kastelbell
  • 1 x per week jogging with Mr Pirhofer on a jogging circuit, adapted to the participants
  • Insider tip: 1 x per week altitude jogging at ‘Alm Höhenjogging’, as per AMAS study, on an Alp with Alpine breakfast (bacon, home produced cheese, yoghurt and
    butter, milk, ‘Kaiserschmarren’ (sugared pancake with raisins)



  • 1 x per week “Long-Jog” starting at 15 km, with an experienced runner
